falling leaves!

November already!!! I couldn't be more excited for this month and for Thanksgiving coming up. Speaking of thanks...

I am grateful for... my family. Seriously I lucked out because I have the best! And I so welcome Solomon into it!!
I am grateful for... a regular paycheck! I recently got a job with the University Surplus and Salvage! I had been searching for quite a while to find a steady job that would work with my school schedule and I had an amazing friend tell me about it. I jumped on it and was hired that same weekend. I do data entry and recently have been doing the cash register! I keep forgetting to back up when the cash drawer swings open so I keep getting smacked in the stomach in front of the customers.
I am grateful for... my vacuum. Uncle Steve helped me get that sexy beast and I can't even explain how happy I get when I vacuum. I can even do it in the dark because there is a light on it!
I am grateful for... Bad test grades... why? Because even though it depresses you all day, it makes you appreciate good test grades! I'm determined to A+ that next sucker! "C's for degrees"
I am grateful for... strangers. "There are not strangers in this world, but only friends we haven't met" I love talking to new people everyday on the train and bus!
I am grateful for... My green rug. It's soft on my toes :)
I am grateful for... Joel Brown. This boy makes my world go round. I now sing on swings and don't give a care in the world :)
I am grateful for... shihtzu maltese mix puppies. Because I want one when I grow up. Apparently that's not now.... dumb apartment contract.

part 1 of 3 million.

million reasons why I love Salt Lake City, but I'll name just a few!

I have cute Grandpa and Grandma over!
An old man on my street leaves out rotten food to feed the birds.
I get to play twister naps with my friends!
I have a neighbor cat that likes to spy on me.
The buildings at my University are gorgeous!

Sunflowers rule every cross walk corner.
I get 15 minutes of pondering time everyday while waiting for the train!
I get to indulge in the best pizza business around!

it's beginning.

School is starting Monday! I'm here at the library trying to get everything ready. Tuition needs to be paid, books bought, and rent will be due. Money stinks I decided. It always ends up gone no matter how high it's piled. If I was a millionaire I would go through school twice, eat all the spagettiO's I wanted, and have a cute little avenue house with a puppy named Comet so my neices and nephew could play with us. How do you become a millionaire? I don't know. I haven't figured that out... besides being lucky. Which I'm not too bad at! Ask Grandma when we play Sequence haha. I miss my family and summer already. This year will be an adventure! I'm grateful for the chance and opportunity to come to school here at this AMAZING university. I'm super excited to be a student. I got my ID card just the other day and feel all official! Dad was my superhero and helped me fix up my bike so I can have my "bikemobile" for the next two years! Strong legs and a healthy heart is my goal! Mom made my day and bought my helmet and tire tubes for me! I'll post pictures of it all soon.

Arianne heads off to Snow too! I feel like such a mother cause I'm scared to have her off on her own! I'm so weird. But I can't shake the feeling until she makes a couple drives safely and starts having crazy fun! Laura will be starting school too!!! I wish I could go to school with her, it'd probably be ten times funner! I love playing with her so I'm going to take the train home a lot so we can have adventures! But I love my family a lot and hope they know so.

Shan and I adopted children. Fish children that is! And they make us so happy :)
I will put up photos of Zoekoe and Salazar soon!

I'm sadly off to give up a chunk of money to the University's cash register. I hope they're happy taking it and hope the education is worth every penny! I know I'll do my part to make it so!

GLITTER TOES!

It's the new in! I heard from a dear friend how to do
glitter toes from home and got real excited! Nothing makes me happier than sparkly
anything so I made a list of what I needed. I told the girls we needed to all get
together and do toes! Here's how they turned out. Hopefully looking at the photo
below doesn't gross you out first! But all you need is fine glitter,
gel nail polish (Sally's sells it), a blow dryer, and great sisters :)

We're going to do a different color for each month! Amanda and Michelle get home so
you can join us! We love and miss you.

Flamingo Family.

Happy Flamingo Day!

We had the most grand day at the Sorensen Home celebrating the best
holiday in the world- Flamingo Day. It's my personal favorite because it's in the month of July, it's my favorite animal, and I LOVE pink!!!
Here's how we celebrated!

Home Sweet Home.

Home sweet home :) University of Utah here I come! I found a cute little apartment not far from campus! Rent is fair and the landlord is fantastic. My best friend Shantel Stoddard and I moved in July 1st and couldn't be more excited about the year to come! Here are some pictures. Mom helped me pick out my pink couches :)
