1- My mother. You are my everything! Only being almost 4 hours apart is still far for me, so those phone calls I seem to make everyday :) mean the world to me! Your the best example of love anyone could ever find.
2- My sister Michelle. You are always radiating happiness! I can always go to you to put a smile back on my face! You are always there for me. And for living in Virginia, that's SUPER SISTER!
3- My bestest friend Nikki. You are the best friend anyone could ask for. Always willing to
listen, love and you never judge. We secretly love random Victoria Secret runs too :) 4- My aunt Shelly. "my favorite aunt" :) You are the most giving and loving woman I know. I truly feel cared about everytime you want to know the 411 of the week!
I love you 4 very much and hope you got your letters! Finals are finished! I graduate this Saturday with my Associates of Arts and am so excited! I've had so much help from family and friends and want to thank everyone for pushing me through this! I've worked hard and have been through some crazy trials to get here. It's going to be a beautiful day and I'm really grateful to be where I'm at. Family, you drive safely down here, ok?! Because I love you!
Recently I had an opportunity to call the man who held my hand in my car accident. His name is Travis Duran and he is such a hero to me. It was amazing to talk to him on the phone. My heart was so full hearing his voice and I thanked him for what he did over and over. I was even able to tell him I was graduating in 2 days! I was in tears the whole time as he recounted the story from exactly what he saw (it's really hard on me because I have immediate flashbacks and I lock up), he told me how he immediately pulled over and thought I was for sure dead. When he heard my voice he almost started crying and ran over to me. He didn't know how to get to me. He kicked the back window open and crawled through the upside down vehicle and asked me if I was ok. I kept telling him my back and head hurt. He told me help was on the way. I kept asking him to take off the seatbelt and he told me he couldn't. I asked him if he would hold my hand and he said of course. I asked him to please not leave me and he promised he wouldnt. I balled because I could remember it, feel it. His voice brought back that memory into better focus. It scared me a little. Flashbacks are so real and they kept happening. After talking for a bit, he told me he was so happy I was alive and well. He was amazed at where I was at, and told me that I forever had a friend in him. And that he'd keep his promise and always be there for me if I needed him. I'm truly grateful for amazing people out there who do nothing but love and serve others. He is a hero and I am so blessed to know him.
I'm here for a reason, I know I am. Graduating Snow has an even bigger meaning for me and So does being with my family this upcoming week. My heart is full with the many blessings I've been given!!! I love you all so much!!! Can't stop crying tears of joy tonight :)
