so a little fantasy come true?
The Sorensen Disneyland Vacation 2010 is just around the corner!!! I'm so excited to
be in the happiest place in all the world with ALL of my family!
It seriously just can't get better than that... Or can it? :)
I believe Captain Jack Sparrow, the man of my dreams, walks the streets of Main Street, Adventureland, New Orleans Square, and maybe even Tomorrowland.
I'm going to find him! And when we meet.....

I'm going to find him! And when we meet.....
He'll run to me like this! But with a smile on his face and...there won't be half naked men behind him.
BUT with arms open wide he will scoop me in his arms AND...

It will be a moment like this :)
I've converted.

Cream cheese... Original. It has always been my favorite choice and only choice on bagels. But recently I've been introduced to use it for anything and with anything by my dear friend Taylor Bosshardt! We made beef enchiladas the other day and found that we were lacking sour cream. I was distraught of course, cause you can't do enchiladas without a little dollop. But alas, Taylor comes walking in with a package of cream cheese to try with it! I laid it on, and I am addicted. I have made an official switch to cream cheese on everything! It has taken over me. I really hope it's healthy, cause I about ate all 6 oz by myself. It's delicious and I double dog dare you to do the switch too :)

today I'm grateful for...
Since the beginning of this year, I've decided to take time each day and write at least one thing I'm grateful for! Some days it'll be something as simple as my can of spaghettiO's and another will be how grateful I am for running water, the shoes I have and the list will go on! I was inspired by Carol Thurgood and her story of her daughter and how she wrote one thing she was grateful for about her husband each day for a year.
For his birthday, this was her gift to him. I was really touched and impressed by this. The greatest gifts are from our hearts. I also know how much more happier and blessed we become when we count our blessings day by day, so I've been dedicated to writing what I am grateful for everyday. It's also a fantastic journal for me! Helps me think twice about what I really do have. My smile seems to show ten times more too when I'm concentrating on the positive in my life!! Here are a few fun entries I thought I'd share!
....1/4/10- Monday- "Drove back safely to Ephraim! Daddy even called me after work to check on me and Arianne. I love those phone calls." 1/23/10- "I'm grateful I can control my temper and attitude. Far from perfect, but I am pretty good at not letting the small things get to me. I'm also grateful for my family chocolate chippers :)" 2/9/10- Tuesday- "I am grateful for man smelling products :) mmm" 2/21/10- "I'm grateful for Gmail video chat so I can see Michelle and Aliyah, Mom, Dad, and Laura too!" 3/21/10- Sunday- "I'm grateful boys have cooties and not girls! (a little girl who sat by us in church while her mother sang in the choir stated to us rather loudly that her dad has cooties cause he's a boy)"
Today I am grateful for my brother in law Jeff, for helping me get a start on my english essay. It sure is stressful, but I'm so glad he can help push me along!

there's snowflakes on my window!
I had a dream that I went and got my ear pierced above the first with a really cute dark blue earring, and I was attractive to everyone in the grocery store. I woke up giggling :)

Finals are closing in! School is getting stressful and all you can do is buckle down and say bring it on. I did have fantastic news in Math today that we would have no further homework assignments nor a final test. I was absolutely thrilled in that time slot that opened for other assignments! Got to keep up on my health this week, so I've been eating an apple a day :)
No luck in finding a job or a place to live this fall. I swear I've emailed 10 families in every state, but just haven't heard much back. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I'm determined to not give up, though it gets hard opening my inbox and seeing it empty. Without the security of income this summer, I might as well not look for a place to stay, but I really would like to find something, so I'm going to keep searching for a place to call my own. Why do things cost money? Wish we could give hugs instead.
I've got 4 stamps, some cute colored paper, and just want to know who would like a letter in the mail :) Be the first to say I, I, I and you'll receive a fun letter, from yours truly, to help keep me sane this crazy April.
Special shout out to my sister Laura! It's her 16th Birthday tomorrow and I just wanted to wish her the Sweetest 16! She means the world to me and I cannot believe how fast time flies. I hope she knows and want her to know for sure, that she is my everything! I love you Laura Lou :) Happiest Birthday and hope those candles aren't as tricky to blow out as Grandpa and Grandma's were!
